Here I come to wreck the day

Many might remember the cartoon Mighty Mouse. He would always say "Here I come to save the day!" Well the other day I walked into my apartment and what did I find? A little brown mouse ran out from underneath the couch. In his confusion and the fact that he was running on a slick floor he slid around the wood floor before running into my bedroom. Well needless to say I was mad! So I went out and bought a few mouse traps and set them around the apartment. I read online that mice don't really like cheese, contrary to popular belief. They recommended putting peanut butter on the trap instead. Well, I did that. The next day I check my traps and the peanut butter was gone. Those dang mice are sneaky. Luckily I have caught one, but I think there might be more. The neighbors upstairs reported seeing one the other day in their apartment as well. And since our apartments are connected, they have taken over the house. So I'm not sure how they got the peanut butter off the trigger, but I'm gonna have to think of something else to get them.
